This post is dedicated to all the stupid people out there. May you never cease to amuse me
The other day I saw an online banner ad that read "Check this out, or I poke my wife in the eyes". Not sure about the psychology there. Is this guy expecting women to click his ad to prevent said poking, (and to help someone who would make the threat in the first place)?
I'm thinking that the ad doesn't seem very motivational to married men, after all. Or is he trying to get single, ugly men to click, to try and meet blind women with bad taste?
Of course, I didn't click to find out what he was selling. Mainly because I hope he does poke her in the eyes, for marrying such an idiot. There's no excuse for that. She can't even use the claim that love blinded her. Clearly it was his finger, after his last ad campaign failed.
People shouldn't claim that they 'Got a deal' on something that they bought only because it was on sale. The proper way to say that is "I got suckered into buying something that I didn't really want, but at least I'm told that I got a deal".
It's not a gain to go from spending nothing, to spending something, no matter how you rationalize it. Unless alcohol is involved, in which case the math gets kinda fuzzy. Right along with your vision.
Completely random but funny blog post here
